Executive Staff Officers

Post Commander – Albert C. Wright, Jr. 

Chief Warrant Officer (Ret), Albert C. Wright, Jr. is from Compton, CA.  He enlisted into the U.S. Army on 16 May 1969.  He was assigned to Co. D, 3rd BN, 1st Basic Combat Training (BCT), Brigade, Fort Ord, CA.

Commander Wright was transferred to Ft. Gordon, GA for Advanced Individual Training (AIT), and trained as a Communications  Center Specialist.

Assignments Highlights:

Area Communications Co., 44th Signal BN, 1st Signal Brigade in Long Binh, Republic of South Vietnam, 1st CAV Div., Ft. Hood TX, U.S., U.S. Training Ctr, (USATC, Ft. Dix, NJ, U.S. Army Strategic Communications Command Okinawa Japan, and a host of other assignments.

Chief Warrant Officer Wright graduated from the Telecommunications Technician Advanced Course, Ft. Gordon, GA and earned his Associate’s Degree from Univ. of MD, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia College, and a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) from Emory University, Atlanta, GA.
