June 8, 2022 //  by admin

After two years of meeting via Zoom (due to the Covid-19 Pandemic), AMVETS GA Post 44, met in person for a Hybrid/Zoom meeting.  Well over 40 members attended the general meeting in person with guest speakers and new members joining the post.

Commander Wright welcomed and thanked Members for attending both in person and via zoom.  He also thanked AMVETS Henry Turner & Charles Wyatt for coordinating the meeting with American Legion Post 66 Commander Norman Davis and other Post 66 Members that led to a 5-year signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations.  Jonathan Horner (American Legion Post 66-House Manager) provided comments on behalf of American Legion Post 66).
